Human Relations Training Module (20hours = 2 CEU)
The Human Relations Training Module will provide the child care center director or administrator with the opportunity to identify, consider, and reflect upon both the inter-and the intra-personal relationships that are developed and nurtured in the administrative role. Upon successful completion of the 20 clock hours of this module, the participant will have reviewed and developed a better understanding of their role in child care management; developing child care professionals; employment plans; interactions with various situations and people; parent and family relations; managing time and space; and managing stress.

The Program Development Training Module will provide the child care center director or administrator with the opportunity to identify, consider, and reflect upon best practices in administering the development and maintenance of the child care center program. Upon successful completion of the 20 clock hours of this module, the participant will have reviewed and developed a better understanding of their role in policies and procedures; financial accountability and responsibility; legal concerns and protections; maintaining an appropriate environment for infants and toddler, preschool children and school-age children; maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment; and appropriate food handling and nutrition.

Director SURVIVOR Training Module (20 hours= 2 CEU)
The Director SURVIVOR Training Module will equip the child care center director or administrator with a tool kit that provides them adequate information to survive in the child care center. Upon successful completion of the 20 clock hours of this module, the participant will have reviewed and developed a better understanding of the director’s vision as contained within the acronym SURVIVOR: Supervise the staff, Understand the hard work the staff does on a daily basis, Respect the staff, Vocalize the vision to the staff, Individualize the work to meet the different needs of the staff, Validate the hard work the staff does at providing quality through the ERS evaluations and accreditation, Organize and manage effectively, and Reach for the Stars.
