ERS Project
Grievance Policy

 

Grievance is defined as any situation where the child care facility does not agree with the ERS assessment information. 

 

  1. Within 90 days of assessment visit:
 
  • Discuss issue(s) with the ERS project supervisor

  • Write a letter to CECPD explaining the grievance within 90 days of assessment visit.

  • The assessor who performed the assessment will write a letter discussing the assessment and areas of concern.
     
2. A Grievance meeting will occur between ERS supervisor, facility and others (if applicable). This meeting could occur in person or via the phone.
     
3. A new assessment will be scheduled if issues are not resolved.
 
Documentation of each step will be included in the facility's ERS file.
