Leadership Academy III - Tier II Training

Leadership Academy III will NOT be offered July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
Training Overview - Theoretical Foundations of Child Development introduces basic theories and principles of child development as it relates to social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth of children. Practical application will be made to the early care and learning environment, making the link as to how theory informs what we teach, how we teach, the materials we use, and how we interact with young children. Teaching strategies include: small and large group discussions, hands-on activities, personal reflection, lecture, group projects and role playing.

Leadership Academy III is offered in two, 23-hour training sessions featuring Dr. Barbara Sorrels as the facilitator/trainer.

*To be eligible for Leadership Academy III, you must have completed the 47-hour training offered in Leadership Academy I and hold a current Oklahoma Registry Director's Credential.
