Changes to REWARD Oklahoma Effective July 1, 2011
REWARD Oklahoma has experienced a reduction in available funding for the fiscal year 2011-2012. Although changes were required to accommodate the reduced funding, REWARD Oklahoma will continue to provide salary supplements to eligible child care practitioners in Oklahoma.
What has or hasn't changed?
- Annual supplement amounts have been reduced at most levels.
- Depending on available funds at the time of application, new applicants may be placed on a waiting list to join the program.
- All participants active in REWARD Oklahoma as of June 30, 2011, will continue to receive supplements at the new annual amount, as long as they remain eligible.
- The facility and participant requirements remain the same, as well as the time limits for each level.
